SamMobile, one of the most reputable Samsung sources, says that the company is developing the Galaxy Tab Pro S2. As you would expect, Samsung will upgrade the specs with the release of the Galaxy Tab Pro S2. The device will come in four different options, probably covering various storage and connectivity configurations. Elsewhere there will be an Intel Core M series processor and a 12-inch display with Quad HD resolution and Samsung’s Super AMOLED technology.
Vs. Surface Pro 4
This is definitely a good thing for Microsoft. It is good to see the company continue to support the Windows platform. The company is, of course, massive and support of the Windows platform will help push Microsoft’s ecosystem to consumers. At the time the company said: “The Galaxy TabPro S is the result of years of collaboration between Samsung, Intel and Microsoft. The end result is a beautiful, ultra-thin, detachable 2-in-1 that is optimized for entertainment and offers productivity without compromise – the perfect device for both consumers and the enterprise.” The new device will be in direct competition with the Surface Pro 4. However, Microsoft embraced the original Galaxy Tab S and welcomed it to the Windows platform. Of course, that is the best tactic, Microsoft can ill afford to push rival hardware away, even if the Surface Pro 4 has potent alternatives these days. There are no pricing details announced for the second iteration of the Galaxy Tab Pro S. However, if it matches the original it will start at $899.99.
